These nightstands were relatively easy to assemble and they are quite heavy as well. The drawers, though they do slide well, have a cheap feel to them. They look fine but I'm not sure how long they will hold up. I do think that if they are primarily used by adults and not children, that they will be okay for a few years anyway.We needed 2 night stands that were taller than norm. These were perfect and really made our room look nice.This is a sturdy and attractive nightstand. The pieces are well marked and you are even given some extra hardware. One piece had a crack in it. It was the back piece which was one of the thinner pieces. The top had a chip on the corner, but it was at the back of the stand and it was still white so it was hard to see. Other than that, it was well packed and delivered on time. It did take a long time to assemble, but we are very satisfied with the finished product!This table looks really good when assembled. I'm impressed with the overall height and sturdiness. And, my cats love it, too!It did take a while to assemble the first one but the second one was much easier after I knew what I was doing.I have looked forever for a nightstand to meet my needs height wise but one that was still aesthetically pleasing. If you have been too, look no further. I only bought one at first because it’s hard to tell how big something will be or how sturdy, but I am obsessed with this piece. I replaced the knobs with acrylic knobs but other than that, I wouldn’t change a thing about this product!My daughter loves these nightstands. They look beautiful on either side of her new bed. The shelf at the bottom is nice because she can easily access the electrical outlet to plug in her phone charger and laptop. The drawers are great to store her journal, Bible, pens, lip balm, earbuds, etc…. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it takes forever to assemble (1 1/2 hours each)- especially if you purchase 2 of them. But honestly, it was worth it for the price, quality, and beauty. I did change out the hardware to some crystal pulls I found at HoneGoods. Love these tables!These nightstands look absolutely fabulous in my bedroom! HOWEVER! The instructions will tell you not to use power tools. I understand that this is a liability issue, etc etc. I ordered two of these nightstands - one for either side of the bed. It took me over three hours to put one of them together using hand tools. Everything - including the drawers - has to be assembled. I put the second one together in a little over an hour using a drill. It's okay to use power tools, you just have to be gentle with your drill. Don't be heavy handed. Use it like a food processor and just pulse until you feel resistance. As soon as you feel it tug, you're good - no need to force anything. Again, these nightstands are absolutely stunning and are the perfect height for my bed. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is because the instructions told me to waste my life and my back on hand tools. It's sturdy and easy to assemble when you're gentle with a drill, not so much without.
