I use these 1 inch maple plugs to repair a maple hardwood floor in a gym that had extensive water damage. The floor had 1 inch holes drilled into it to allow for drying and I needed something to fill them. They were easy to install, I just used a little bit of glue tapped them in and sanded them off a little bit.
